Sean Me is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting those families affected by Autism.
Sean Me was created to establish specialized recreational settings, job training and physical fitness training to individuals who deal with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
Understanding the lives of individuals with Autism as well as their families is the backbone to our purpose. Being able to create an environment that is comfortable to both children and parents is essential, whether it is inside their home or outside playing or in a more social situation.
Most Autistic children are diagnosed early, less than 2 years old. There are many different levels of Autism as you may know, some characteristics more noticeable than others.
Knowing and learning ourselves from an early stage is something most of us do. Identifying who we are at a young age and then bringing in all of our surroundings, people, places and things that make us grow is something a lot of us take for granted. Communication; speaking and hearing, knowing how we interact with others and how others accept us, developing friendships and positive family interaction are all part of our daily lives, essential to most of us. These abilities are things that may come naturally to some people,
The realization within a parent when they know their child is a little different; trying to find out what to do, who to talk to, and how to live taking care of what they are discovering while moving forward in an ever changing life..
When Autism is diagnosed, parents continue seeing their child's reactions, they learn how and what to do on an ongoing basis.
Sean Me is creating ongoing inside and outside activities for both individuals and families to help increase the availability to learn and enjoy many more things in life.
